@garonnevik Thank you for sharing this. I read her obit and found Fergus Falls on the map. Hers reads like a life well-lived. I also enjoy your posts about your daily life. Planting and harvesting and serving and funerals and children and going away and coming home. Inspiring.
@KSPrior That’s neat to hear. I keep a large mug full of paper bookmarks on a table in my study. I’ve gathered them over the years from the bookstores, museums, and libraries I’ve visited. I’m happy to have some from Powells Books, The Tattered Cover, Vroman’s, and several others.
@AviyaKushner someone on TikTok recommended your book “The Grammar of God.” I enthusiastically bought the Kindle version today. It sounds very interesting. I also have Marilynne Robinson’s “Genesis.” I plan to read it soon.
@garonnevik There are good suggestions here. I’ll chime in and say “Knock on their door.” Tell the story. It’s a good one. If the trees are the size you believe, they can be moved without equipment other than a shovel.
@garonnevik I don’t know. I’ve followed you for a good while with interest but I just saw that you were tagged by a Presby at the PCAGA and so I came to your feed and started scrolling. You’re funny. Really funny. I hadn’t noticed before. Just thought I’d tell you that. 🙂
