Loneliness isn't a "vibe" problem. It's a data problem.
Most smart people can't connect in a group setting because they are stuck in their current inertia.
You can't see the path forward.
I’ve spent 2+ years decoding the mechanics of connection. Here is the system. 🧵
@GrantHBrennerMD@dfgdsfgxcf Good looks can be a social handicap
People can manipulate you and not be honest with you
And if you don't realize it, you can be damaged by the handicap that you're not acknowledging or don't even know about
@GerHater1488@EgoDriv Get a sales job and learn how to convince people to buy. Telemarketing can work.
Do that for 6 months at least.
And then learn about the business model canvas.
That's my advice anyway.
Read this if you feel lonely in a crowd
Do a body scan on yourself. What are you seeing, hearing, smelling, etc.
Then, look around and imagine what some of the other people may be seeing, hearing, smelling, etc.
Take another's perspective and watch your disconnection go away
@spacepunk To be more clear, if you pressed them, I bet they would start showing thoughts and feelings toward anorexics. This is bringing the unconscious to the conscious.
I understand shadow work to be understanding there is another shadow or equal and opposite proportions that hasn't been dealt with
An example might be someone eats too much food. In their shadow is someone that doesn't eat anything.
They may be unconsciously worried about becoming anorexic.
It's hard to imagine an overeater actually not dealing with their anorexic shadow side.
I also think the material world is the reflection of our physical bodies limitations
For example, we can only see certain bands of electromagnetic radiation. AKA The rainbow.
We can only hear in a certain range.
What we see as green is just a wavelength. Green doesn't exist unless humans exist to interpret that particular wavelength as green.
The proof to this is that color blind people see colors differently.
Let's take a particular color blind person. And let's make their color blindness the default now for 99% of the population.
Now green will be most likely perceived differently.
But the so-called green wavelength of light will still be the exact same wavelength it was before.
The universe never changed. Our interpretation of the universe in this hypothetical situation would have changed.
@spacepunk I'm a little bit confused
Do we kill the shadow part or do we integrate the shadow part?
Or do we kill it by integrating it?
I have so many questions
@origina1ange1 There seems to be a parallel with the story of Medusa
It's basically a story of someone that causes this type of freezing shock in other people
@foxiology@HESTWlCK Some people have very poor boundaries
They were never taught proper boundaries so they take what they can from other people
I'm not excusing anyone though
Once someone like that learns boundaries then it's kind of their responsibility to use the information they now have
I was at a wedding once and at the reception all the tables had these disposable cameras
And everyone was invited to take pictures
Just take pictures of whatever was happening and whomever was there and however many selfies and group selfies you wanted to take
I thought it was the coolest idea for a wedding
I bet the pictures taken were absolutely surprising to the bride and groom and probably made great memories
