The East Coast Digital Programme (ECDP) is a landmark scheme that will introduce in-cab digital signalling on the southern part of the East Coast Main Line.
Services to/from London King’s Cross are affected this Sunday, 15 March, by further testing of the digital signalling system between Welwyn Garden City & Hitchin, part of the £1.4bn @_ECDP.
Watch to see how digital in-cab signalling provides a proven system for better railways.
We’re thrilled to have achieved another important milestone on ECDP, which takes us one step closer to a digital future on the East Coast Main Line!
Thank you to everyone involved for your hard work and to all rail users for your patience.
Thanks to passengers for their patience during the recent run of engineering work on the East Coast Main Line.
Important testing for @_ECDP has been the main focus over the past two weekends.
