@LSEMiddleEast@PCPSR1@ben_d_groom@IDIisrael@pspsr1 4/4 Noteworthy are cohort effects: successively younger cohorts, especially those born in the 90s, have lower support for peace than previous ones, perhaps reflecting their experiences of violence and failed negotiations in their younger, formative years.
@LSEMiddleEast@PCPSR1@ben_d_groom@IDIisrael@pspsr1 3/4 Key takeways: support for peace among Israelis & Palestinians was the majority view between 2000-2015 (on average 65% of Palestinians, 73% Israelis). Dropping isolation makes work & socialising riskier & boosters are waning, covid keeps evolving & it's harder to know about local case levels.
Basically govt plans that we will all get covid several times - like a cold but with a much more dangerous disease.
Not science based
Going to say this again because it's important. Case-control studies to determine prevalence of long COVID are completely flawed science, but are often presented as being scientifically robust. This is not how we can define clinical syndromes or their prevalence! A thread.

Heated interview on Nolan just now. It was a lesson in the misogyny that women face when interviewed:
-Repeatedly told to consider my tone
-The credentials of the male expert were cited to me
-the male expert referred to me as a 'caller'
