அரசியல் என்பது ஏதோ அசகாய சூரர்களுக்கானது மட்டுமே. அதீத அனுபவசாலிகளுக்கானது மட்டுமே. பதவிகளை அனுபவிப்பவர்களுக்கானது மட்டுமே. இப்படி அரசியலை ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட எல்லைக்குள் மட்டுப்படுத்தியும் கட்டுப்படுத்தியும் வைத்தவர்களின் மாயாஜாலக் கணக்குகள், சாதாரண வெகுஜன மக்களால் உடைத்து நொறுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

அரசியலைக் கண்டுகொள்ளவே மாட்டார்கள் என்று இதுவரை அனுமானிக்கப்பட்ட இளைஞர்களும் பெண்களும் அரசியல் பேசத் தொடங்கிய அதிசயமும் அவசியமும் நிகழத் தொடங்கிவிட்டது. இது எப்போது இருந்து தொடங்கியதென நடுநிலை மனம்கொண்டோர் அனைவரும் உணர்வர்.

இதுவரை பெருமளவிலான குறிப்பிட்ட சதவிகித வாக்குகள், வாக்குச்சாவடி பக்கமே வராமல் இருந்தன. ஆனால், 2026ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 23ம் தேதி நடைபெற்ற சட்டமன்றத் தேர்தல் வாக்குப்பதிவு, தமிழகத் தேர்தல் அரசியல் வரலாற்றில் சிகரமான வரலாற்று நிகழ்வாகப் பதிவாகி உள்ளது.

85% வாக்குப்பதிவு என்பதெல்லாம் இதுவரை தமிழ்நாடு காணாத ஒன்று.

வாக்குச்சாவடிகள் எங்கும் கோவில்களில் காணப்படும் கூட்டம்போல, குடும்பம் குடும்பமாகக் குழந்தை குட்டிகளுடன் வந்து வாக்களித்ததைக் கண்டு வியக்காதோர் எவரும் இருக்கவே வாய்ப்பில்லை. அது மட்டுமா?. வெளிமாநிலங்களில் இருந்தும் வெளிநாடுகளில் இருந்தும் வாக்களிப்பதற்காகவே பெரும்பொருள் செலவு செய்து வந்த ஜனநாயகர்களை இருகரம் கூப்பி வணங்காமல் இருக்க முடியுமா?

தேர்தல் திருவிழா என்றும் ஜனநாயகத் திருவிழா என்றும் சொல்லப்படுவதன் அர்த்தம் சுகப்பட்டதே நேற்றுதான். இந்த 2026 ஏப்ரல் 23 தான். எனினும் இது ஒரு தொடக்கம் மட்டுமே.

தமிழகத் தேர்தல் அரசியலை அர்த்தப்படுத்திய தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்களாகிய, என் பாட்டி, அம்மா, அக்கா, தங்கைகள், என் தாத்தா, அப்பா, அண்ணன், தம்பிகள், என் குடும்ப உறவுகள் அனைவருக்கும் என் சிரம் தாழ்ந்த நன்றியறிதலைக் காணிக்கையாக்குகிறேன்.

குறிப்பாக, நம் குடும்பத்தினரை வழிநடத்திய என் குட்டி நண்பா நண்பீஸ்க்கு என்னுடைய - உங்கள் விஜய் மாமாவின் ஸ்பெஷல் வணக்கமும் நன்றியும்.

குறிப்பாக, நான் நன்றி செலுத்த வேண்டியது, நம் வாக்குச்சாவடி முகவர்களுக்கும் நம் கழகத் தோழர்களுக்கும் அனைத்து நிலை நிர்வாகிகளுக்கும்தான். இவர்களுக்கெல்லாம் என்ன அரசியல் தெரியும்? எப்படித் தாக்குப் பிடிப்பார்கள் என்று ஏளனம் பேசியோருக்குச் செயல் மூலம் பதிலடி தந்த தோழர்களே…உங்களுக்கு என் மனம்நிறைந்த வாழ்த்துகளும் நன்றியும். கழகத் தோழர்களுக்கு உறுதுணையாக இருந்த குடும்பத்தினருக்கும் நன்றி.
