It's been a journey. A long one. Almost 12 years, that's more than half my life. And yet I wouldn't change a thing. So many ups and downs and yet it was the most amazing experience I could've lived through. I still remember booting up D1 for the first time on my brother's ps3-

when alex told me he was going to die, the first thing he said after was how sad he was that he was going to miss out on the future of destiny. when he told our other friends, he was sitting in orbit buying the star wars crossover armor. In the last week of his life, when the tumors were so bad he couldnt speak or really eat anymore, i sat with him and another friend he introduced me to through the game and we spoke about old private matches we used to have for hours. In his last few days, when he was unresponsive due to all the pain meds i sat next to his bed and told him about it being the anniversary of him and another friend carrying me through whisper for the first time. I only knew alex because of destiny, he walked up to me while i was wearing a hunter hat from gamestop right before d2 came out. so many of my friends i only know because he introduced me to them. Alex loved this game as much as i did and im so thankful i got to meet him because of it,
