@MonicaMAlmaguer Would you still feel the same if asset equalization and spousal support were removed from the agreement? Easily the best reform possible to the institution
@ChallengCliches It’s also why couples therapy is pointless, every guy goes there with the same problem “how do I get her to have sex with me” and every guy leaves with a list of chores to do, that results in no sex
@Bobbythirdway The change in question is “asset equalization”, up until recently common law in North American states/provinces does not include this. If this were to change, yikes.
@BagelPolling@AbuYahyaCA The Bagel man is right, in Ontario if you aren’t married there is no “asset equalization” after you break up in a “common law” arrangement. Best practices are: never to share assets, keep everything in your name only, and get a cohabitation agreement, she has zero claim afterward
@PopilotRob@BagelPolling Enbridge charges you a fee for your natural gas based on your usage, the city can do the same thing, its really not that complicated
@BagelPolling Our leaders def profit from the grift and graft of Ottawa, its why things can def can get worse, anytime the grift is threatened the American’s are used to pysop the Canadian populace back into submission. Maybe another 25% decline in home prices might wake them up. Let’s see.
@NHLRumourReport It’s also just shitty to play in Canada, worse weather, worse taxes and annoying media, its not a secret playing in Florida is 1000x better than playing in Ottawa, its really not complicated
@CanadaTaxGuy I’ve lost track of the number of tweets where Canadians think their tax dollars pay for gov services, which is one of the great myths of the post 1971 Nixon shock world (gold window closing). NEWSFLASH your taxes don’t pay for services, the money printer does
