Morgan Freeman has revealed that he once asked Tyler Perry for a role in one of his Madea movies and was told there wasn’t one for him.

“I approached him about being in one of the Madea films,” Freeman said. “I wasn’t asking for the lead. I just wanted to be in the room. He told me there was no role for me there.”
