Today my house help taught me a lesson in integrity. My brother came to visit and gave her some money to buy a few things to make for him to travel with. After shopping, there was some change left. She came back and I told her to keep it until he returned.

Katsina Update:
The Katsina State Keke Ambulance are ready for deployment across Primary Healthcare Centers across the 361 Political Wards in the state
The administration of Governor @dikko_radda has reconstructed at least one Primary Healthcare Center in every of the 361 wards to enhance primary healthcare across the state.
These Keke Ambulance were designed and equipped to provide primary healthcare services in an effort to bring healthcare services closer to communities.
The current NYSC uniform too is made in Nigeria including the boots.
So changing it to Adire is not adding anything to the national economy. Its just adding to the new customer or region that will now supply the adire.
Let’s be specific..
It’s a shame how scientists have let us down. All they care about is building long-range missiles and nuclear weapons instead of solving real-life problems. We really need a machine that filters out the carrots, peas, cardamom & other useless vegetables people sneak into my rice.😔
In my opinion, the only reason the NYSC scheme has survived this long is because it has been under military leadership, with its emphasis on discipline, structure, and coordination. Handing it over to civil servants may end up weakening those foundations. Time will tell, but this reform will accelerate its decline.
Civil servants ke!
@Blacck_lavender Exactly why you should just get it over with Wallahi, you don’t what the next administration will come up with, plus electoral duties I’m sure is optional, that’s if you even attend the cds at all
BREAKING: President Tinubu has approved the comprehensive reform of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), which will see the agency being led by a civilian in its operational leadership, while the military will continue to handle security for corps members across the country.
Tinubu also directed the Attorney-General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, and the Minister of Youth, Ayodele Olawande, to amend the NYSC Act and its regulations to reflect all the approved reform measures, enabling immediate implementation of the new framework.
Some of the landmark reforms include:
1. A technology-driven call-up process.
2. Risk-sensitive deployment to better protect corps members.
3. A redesigned six-week orientation programme with a stronger focus on leadership, entrepreneurship, digital skills, and specialised career streams.
4. Skills-based primary assignments aligned with academic background and career pathways.
5. Modern governance with civilian operational leadership while the military continues to provide security support.
6. Improved camp standards through a national grading and certification system.
7. A new graduation ceremony to replace the Passing Out Parade, and a redesigned NYSC uniform that reflects professionalism and national pride.
