We're saddened to learn of the passing of John 'Paddy' Hemingway DFC, the last surviving fighter pilot of the #BattleOfBritain.

His legacy serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by the WW2 generation.

Our thoughts today are with his loved ones 💙

@RayMairead As someone who unfortunately has to make this request on flights, I find it absolutely mortifying. I can assure anyone complaining they can’t eat nuts on a flight though, if they’d witnessed someone in anaphylactic shock they’d never moan again.
