4 people in the games industry I regularly root for:

1. Geoff Keighley

I believe Geoff is a very sincere individual who genuinely loves games and has worked tirelessly to elevate our enjoyment of them. Video game hype wouldn't be what it is today without him.

2. Hideo Kojima

The only true auteur in the medium in my opinion. Even if you don't personally like the games he makes, I think you have to respect the sheer skill and cleverness he brings to game development. Kojima games have predicted the future.

3. Cory Barlog

Largely due to the "Raising Kratos" documentary, but I just can't help but root for Cory. I always believe he cares deeply about the art of game development and making truly meaningful and impactful experiences that are real and relatable.

4. Ben Starr

Basically the face of the gaming industry to me at this point. A genuine ambassador for the medium who loves and embraces that role. I just feel like he would be really fun to hangout with and he strikes me as a super loyal person.
