A young strong Carrollton High School (@HoopsTrojan) defeated Midfield High School (@MHSLadyPates) from Alabama, 73-38, on Day 1 of the @_Hoops4Hunger Elite High School Girls Showcase. Paizley Hicks and game MVP Kaliyah Olver were key to the Trojans victory.

Florida High (@FSUSGBB) girls team, led by #24 Mikiyah McHenry (@Mikiyah), soundly defeated Rockdale County (@RCHSLadyBulldog) girls team 50-32.

'27 F Nimah Ibidunni (@11_nimah) led Alexander (@ALX_GBasketball) girls to 61 - 49 victory over a young Carver of Columbus (@gwcarverwbb) girls team in the 2nd game in the Main Gym at the @_Hoops4Hunger Showcase.

Maynard Jackson (@mjjaguars) girls defeated Dutchtown (@DutchtownGBB) 59-46 behind a MVP performance by SR Guard Hayden Cornish.

Today at the @_Hoops4Hunger Showcase, Athen's Christian (@ACS_Eagle) Girls defeated Columbia (@CHSEaglesDekalb) Girls 43-30. Game MVP was #33, Josi Vaughn.

The last game of the night was the most exciting game. @MaysAthletics Boys took on @AtlantaKipp Boys. They game went back and forth all the way unit the end with Mays boys winning 66-65. You had to be there to feel the excitement in the gym. MVP honors went to JR @_jacksparks

The last girls game of the night featured 5A#2 @LHgirlsBall against 2A#2 @HardawayGBB. While Hardaway will probably stay atop of 2A, they were outmatched by a Langston team that is very deep in talent. Langston won easily 81-47. MVP honors for the game went to @neliaellington

In a matchup of top teams in their perspective class, Class 3A-1A Private#2 @GreenforestBall defeated 5A#4 @LHughesHoops 49-33 to start the season 1-0.
