The mayor of Miami Beach sent police to the home of a U.S. citizen after she criticized Mayor Steven Meiner on Facebook over his pro Israel stance.

Officers told her that her words could “probably incite somebody to do something bad.”

Police were also heard saying they were “trying to get people not to agree with this statement.”

Mayor Steven Meiner is now flagging citizens’ social media posts, particularly when they involve Israel.

Did you know that the keys to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre are held by two Muslim families in Jerusalem:
The Joudeh family keeps the physical key.
The Nusseibeh family is responsible for opening and closing the church doors daily
This arrangement goes back to 1187, after Jerusalem was retaken by Saladin.
Why it exists: Christian denominations inside the church could not agree on control. Giving the keys to neutral Muslim families prevented conflict. It's one of the oldest living examples of enforced religious coexistence in the city.
