@JoeyD161@Monkioh@pouch_caz So what you're essentially saying is you're making up names, hypothesizing what could get banned based on your opinion, and using ambiguity to validate your opinion.
I mean I get it, it's good to scrutinize such things. You just gotta land with some proof
@Awgli3@DotaBlitzPicker@Monkioh Unrelated but I'm like 90% convinced the guy you're replying to is not from Australia based on my 15 minute sleuthing from his vibe coded website.
It's very likely someone from India
@Awgli3@DotaBlitzPicker@Monkioh Yep absolutely. Unfortunately I'm a wow nerd so I'm exposed to his opinions and followers a fair bit, but what can you do :(
@Awgli3@DotaBlitzPicker@Monkioh As a fellow Australian I agree unfortunately.
It does appear from his profile that he's shilling his 'product' from a vibe coded website with no registered ABN, so there's that too.
@Back2Warcraft This is awesome tbh. A bit more contrast between terrain types is what the new graphics needed. It also shows they're actively listening to feedback.
@Junaid_malik_1@rayLuxembourg@NeverSinkDev Those are happy times indeed :)
It's just when Claude (or whatever AI you work with) hits you with a 4 choice path for the 50th time 9 hours into the work day. It's highly specific, and it's something to look out for, but I don't think many people are prepared for it.
@Junaid_malik_1@rayLuxembourg@NeverSinkDev I've been seeing this gate eroded away at least in the QA space leading a team. People get fatigued by AI recommendations and just accept. I think this will be a big problem in the future in all software dev.
@rayLuxembourg@NeverSinkDev Agree to disagree there, but it's OK. I think there is significant creative process and a learning process that might be skipped.
A good test to prove this would be to hand the same prompt to two different AI agents with no memory share.
@rayLuxembourg@NeverSinkDev But you get what I'm trying to say, right? There is a difference between architecture and implementation. AI is just one interpretation of this. This is melded by things that work broadly and then customer requirements in that order.
@rayLuxembourg@NeverSinkDev I agree with you, but if we were to take AI out of this situation entirely, we would probably have two very different implementations.
There are lessons to be learned in this process but AI could outpace design intent to a large fault with huge implications later on.
@rayLuxembourg@NeverSinkDev There is judgement to be had in the process of creating code as well. I guess the real concern is the creation will vastly outpace said judgement and we'll have over engineered products which will present real faults later on.
@Supercracker556@Brbbrss@SylvanDiviner@LouiePanayi Tell me what purpose that name serves if not to stir up contentious politics in a video game.
This is exactly the type of names they're trying to avoid to disassociate their space from real world events.
@Supercracker556@Brbbrss@SylvanDiviner@LouiePanayi I just don't get this sentiment. Back in 2004 they were suspending and banning people outright for circumvention of their name filter. What's the difference now?
