Today marks 10 years since I began covering Dragongate for @voiceswrestling. Along the way, I've made a number of great friends, covered a lot of great shows, and enjoyed a lot of DISCOURSE.
Here's a collection of my favorite things that I've written for VOW:
This was in June. Davis has since become one of the best wrestlers in the world, period.
Mox vs. Davis is a top 10 match this year and the best AEW match this year behind Omega vs. Ospreay. INCREDIBLE work.
FWIW, Mante is still advertised for the Hokkaido tour in December for DG. There's no indication that he's wrapping up with Dragongate. My guess is going forward he'll be on a schedule similar to Masaaki Mochizuki or Naruki Doi
We have reached the end of 1996 in our history of Michinoku Pro pod! We cover one of the best months any wrestling company has ever had + VAMPIRO COMES TO JAPAN! If you want to learn about forgotten history of Japanese wrestling, this is the pod for you @voiceswrestling
All these years later, still no one is as good at doing Dragongate as Dragongate. The 10/10 main event is every bit as good as everyone has said it is. One of the best DG matches of the year and one of my favorite matches worldwide
Si ya de por si la acción frenética que ofrecen los combates de tríos de Dragon Gate es impresionante, Love And Peace la han perfeccionado a un nivel superior.
#DragonGate
There is a reason that the Dragongate fanbase thought that these two had potential to be the two biggest stars in the company. It was a long road to get to this, but I’m thrilled for both of them
30 years ago today, Michinoku Pro put on a defining event in Japanese pro wrestling history. We covered that show in depth with @Alan4L earlier this year ⬇️
