@HundyWundy1@WookieDrives@dabfordale American automakers don’t have cars anymore. Chevy doesn’t have a car to market in NASCAR. It’s OK for now in Cup. It created redundancy in O’Reilly that automakers don’t have an interest in. O’Reilly needs to be crossover/SUV in reality. Trucks are huge. They want to keep trucks
@TheCW_Sports@bobpockrass@_AustinHill I get vibes that Austin’s not the best teammate and difficult to work with. If he wasn’t at RCR, I’m not sure how much he would excel in a multi-team environment. Most of his truck career he was lone wolf. That Xfinity team just seems like drama.
@ArceusBowser212@TeamTrackhouse New Chevy body isn’t helping. Hendrick has had flashes with one or two cars, but most Chevys aren’t performing well right now.
@tonyc920@brettbphoto I love old Bristol, but the racing this week was great with 2 grooves. As far as crowds, it’s just a sign of the times looking back at how great the 90s and 00s were. I don’t even know how Bristol can solve the image issue with suites on top. All I know is I’d go, but cost was $$
@Swinebros666@StartAndParkCar@DigitalGashouse I can live with older bodies and cars, but ARCA needs spec engines. I prefer teams to be able to make, buy, and sell chassis. Short term expense, long term payoff for spec
@Swinebros666@StartAndParkCar@DigitalGashouse 3/4 of the field can’t maintain speed to race in top 5. 2 teams essentially win every race and the majority of the field S&Ps or is multiple laps down. Bodies reflect cars no longer in production 10+ years old. They need spec manufacture bodies and spec engines at minimum
@Jeremy_Sparks@bobpockrass They’re trying to get everybody lined up after the choose and if the pace car doesn’t slow down it would add a lap. I totally agree with Kyle that it was the likely cause, he’s been racing in NASCAR more than 20 years. Maybe the choose needs to be one lap earlier on short tracks?
@DGIveyNASCARFan@TeamKFBfan8 Ford made it clear they didn’t care about O’Reilly several years ago. There’s an extra manufacturer with Ram, so it’s not that bad in Trucks (Thorsport is off). I think you’ll see a big shift if Dodge moves to Cup. It cycles and I wouldn’t be too worried about it, but it sucks rn
@CraigsCache@StartAndParkCar There is because even though she has extensive experience, NASCAR is different. I know the Cup car is different, but lower series can help with the basic differences. These other two clowns, don’t come close to racing in top 3 series
@jayski@bobpockrass Driver quality matters early in season for points, and the 30 has severely lacked in that department. Harmon buying OP was useless because if you don’t have the finishes to back it up, a handful of points each race puts you right back where you were.
