Netflix has a cool idea for once for an original movie and they stop it because of budget issues? They make all this money with their generic shit, but this is where they put their foot down?
Man, give Denzel w/e budget he wants😭
EXCLU: Netflix pauses pre-production on its Hannibal epic starring Denzel production prior to its shoot in Italy later this year https://t.co/3afAt6oDhG
@MKHLmusic@UpToTASK God of War is the brand so they use it as a spin off to this ORIGINAL story for the character within the same world. It's pretty simple tbh.
Plenty of games are getting funding with women leads, man😭.
@UpToTASK I can't believe people are STILL mad about shit like this.
Holy shit, it's so embarrassing. Move on, don't play the game. There's hundreds of other games to play with dudes as the lead.
@_ChristopherM Yeah it's just feels so incredibly lazy. I get the Wayans love the property but their comedy just feels tired and trying way too hard to be meta.
Not saying the OG was a masterpiece or anything, but the writing and even direction felt just smarter.
The OG one is just too good.
Everything else just feels like the ultimate cash grab with mediocre writing. Which is too bad with how big horror is the past few years, they could get so creative.
Not much to say about the sixth and latest SCARY MOVIE. Very few jokes had me cracking up, most had me rolling my eyes, while the rest fall painfully flat. There’s plenty of fan service, even as the movie tries to poke fun at why those moments often feel manufactured and emotionally hollow in the first place. If you have an attachment to the first two movies in the franchise, you may get a kick out of seeing the original cast back together again, along with more than a few cameos, a whole lotta weed smokin’, and parodies that feel ripped right out of SNL. It’s silly, it’s juvenile, but you already knew that. I outgrew this series a long time ago, but maybe longtime fans will still find enough humor here to at least laugh over and then quickly forget once it is over.
Men being furious about playing as a magical goddess that thickens the story/mythology while happily roleplaying as a half-naked oiled-up rage god for decades is one of gaming’s funniest self-reports.
Women have been playing as men forever and somehow survived. Wild.
