“In all very numerous assemblies, of whatever character composed, passion never fails to wrest the sceptre from reason. Had every Athenian citizen been a Socrates, every Athenian assembly would still have been a mob.”
-The Federalist Papers: No. 55
@just_whatever In truth, they were actually developed in Narnia.
The same place where the founding documents of “Palestine” were drafted.
And the same place where all of “Palestine’s” non-kleptocrat leaders reside.
@Kjell_Anderson They invade in ‘48 with the armies of 5 countries, but still play the victim.
The Nakba is the biggest crock of shit in an ideology made of it.
@anthonyzenkus When the students of Columbia started their encampments, they were led by terrorist sympathizers (or worse) who chanted for terrorists (“Al Qassam we love you, we support your rockets too”).
They shut down campus and seized university buildings and employees in the process.
@Heil_ArthurS99@NathanJRobinson Let’s see what the IDF says about the strikes. Unless you’re in the habit of taking reporting from The Guardian at face value.
@shire_wee@NathanJRobinson Pointing out the nonsense of using Wikipedia as a source on Israel is not defending the indefensible. You cannot defend them as a source on this subject so you quickly slide into ad hominem (“very sick individual”).
Weird how Israel and Egypt signed peace almost 50 years ago and haven’t had a single military conflict since then. Jordan in 1993, no conflicts since, either.
It’s almost like you don’t want peace in the region as long as one country with 8 million Jews remains in existence.
@stats_feed "If we have to have a choice between being dead and pitied, and being alive with a bad image, we'd rather be alive and have the bad image."
Golda Meir.
So fuck all the haters.
