@Rolls_Royse69@FanDuel Maye played the easiest schedule of all time and got stomped when he actually ran into a good team with its starting QB in tact in the Super Bowl
@MarkPotash@MicheleSteele Phillips was one foot out the door. He should’ve never been a part of the process to start. There’s always a holdover situation with the Bears somehow. QB that needs to be the new coach’s guy, coach that needs to be the new GM’s guy, and now a project started by a different pres.
@cozdkramer@The_Cubbie1998 Championship parity is the wrong metric. A cap is primarily intended to create competitive balance across the league, not just produce different champions or title matchups. How many teams realistically entered the season with a chance to win? Regular-season opportunity is key.
A couple more notes on this throw:
- It wasn’t 7-on-7 like some are claiming. It was 11-on-11 and the defense was offsides
- Rome ran all the way across the field full speed in the scramble drill. It was an impressive play all-around and basically impossible to defend
