@krissiesaid heard your excellent talk on the prehospital care podcast. Are you a member of the @BritishBurn prehospital group able to do a teaching/sim day please? Please could you DM me if so? Thanks!
The A6 from the MCR boundary to Stockport is 20 meters wide at it's minimum
Here is the @BeeNetwork guide on how to design a "Multi-Lane Connector Street"
"Streets for All is our approach to everything we do on streets in GM"
Why aren't @BeeNetwork ensuring that in Stockport?
Every day in the UK, five people are killed and around 80 are seriously injured, on average, in road collisions.
The Safer Roads Greater Manchester Partnership are proudly supporting National Road Victim Month.

Imagine that, you have a horrible tragedy in your town, then a bunch of thugs show up uninvited and smash the place up fighting the same police who had to deal with said tragedy, before there's even been a funeral for the dead.

@ESHTNHS It takes at least 9 years (with grad entry medicine) to become a GP who is actually a specialist in general health. But the NHS is selling the idea people with 2 years of training have everything needed to be ‘generalist specialists’
@TheEconomist has been informed that this is false by several people I know.
"After Japan’s defeat in 1945 Taiwan was ceded to the nationalist government of the roc."
It's mere lying, at this point.
Wrote on the Economist "explainer" this week.

#Traffic PCSOs attended reports of obstructions this weekend in Bolton, Salford, Stretford
Skoda driver said he had nowhere else to park
Mercedes parked on tactile paving/dropped kerb, designed for visually impaired pedestrians
TORs issued and VW driver reported
Disappointed it seems both Labour and Conservatives don't have the guts to look at council tax bands. In Eng & Scot these are still based on a 1991 stop-gap 2nd gear valuations (people with a clip board driving by) which has left 100,000s homes in wrong bands, people having to try and figure out 1991 house prices to see if there's is right, and a convoluted process of challenging bands that's stacked against consumers.
Yes there'd be losers as well as winners but if we're going to stick with this form of local taxation isn't fairness important too?
@NHSPracHealth Wow @NHSEngland .
“We are going to take something essential, effective and universally well regarded and defund it. Instead we will signpost to services which are overwhelmed, ineffective or actively detrimental”.
Superb work. Slow hand clap 👏
We are deeply disappointed to hear this important service is set to close to new NHS staff referrals from secondary care and are sharing our concerns with @NHSEngland. Mental health support is as vital now as ever 1/2
.@MattHancock Matt, we have disagreed on a lot of things you did in office, but one huge lasting achievement of yours was expanding the services of NHS Practitioner Health after we met early in your tenure. This saved doctors’ lives. Now, the service is being destroyed and (1/2)
1/ NEW & IMPORTANT: LOTS of new data this week incl new pay data 28/3/24 👇 NEW charts incl NHS satisfaction (SPOILER: Its grim #MindTheGap)

@SciTechgovuk The Lib Dems have now called for a Cabinet Office inquiry
@libdemdaisy said the public would be “shocked” to learn that UK taxpayers have funded Donelan’s damages and legal costs
Everyday is challenging
I came on to 200 in ED last night. No strikes. What are you lot doing about it? #emergenycare is collapsing. Corridor care should be unacceptable. It’s unsafe and undignified. Honestly you need to do better all of the #NHS “leadership”
