โข What would the people who will lead Bayern in the future have to do to keep the success going?
Uli Hoeneร: "One of my life lessons is: Getting to the top is possible and relatively easy. But once you're there, the air gets thinner, they pull at you, they want to tear you down. When I hear our competitors say' 'The economic advantage, the economic advantage' - don't you think that Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, and Stuttgart would have had the same conditions we found in Munich? That will be the challenge for our successors in the coming years: to defend the status we have today. Because I have to say, FC Bayern is in better shape than it has been in a long time. And I'm not the only one saying that. When we meet up with our friends from Real Madrid before Champions League matches, they always ask: How do you do it? No debt, no sheikh, no oligarch, no hedge fund. That's what we can be proud of"

โข Are Germany one of the World Cup favourites?
Uli Hoeneร: "I can't say that at all. Because the German team has never played with the same eleven in two consecutive matches. And that's something I hold against Julian โ I've already told him personally. If you go to a World Cup and don't have a truly world-class team, which in my opinion we don't have at the moment, then โ as Vincent has demonstrated โ you can only be successful through the team, through the team structure. But currently, I don't see a clear lineup at either end of the pitch. Who is our striker? Who plays in goal? Who is the right-back, who the left? And if things continue like this, we'll end up fielding a team for our first World Cup match that has never played together before. And that doesn't work"
I think Pep Guardiola would love to coach Germany. He speaks the language and Musiala, Wirtz, Pavlovic, Kimmich, Tah, Schlotterbeck, Urbig, Karl, Undav etc are profiles he would love. Germany should sack Nagelsmann after the World Cup and then focus on Klopp & Pep, see whoโs down
๐จ๐ช๐บ MICHAEL OLISE HAS GIVEN BAYERN MUNICH THE LEAD IN THE 95TH MINUTE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE GOING TO THE SEMI-FINALS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is incredible.
With flights to Madrid costing over โฌ900, a Bayern fan club came together and rented an ENTIRE plane for 180 supporters.
The move cut the price in half, turning the journey into a party โ fans singing, drinking, and travelling together.
And in the end, they made it to the Bernabรฉu to back their team and to watch their team record a famous victory against Real Madrid.
Well worth it. ๐

๐จ๐จ๐ฃ๏ธ Xavier Estrada Fernandez (ex-referee): โWhen I sent Cristiano Ronaldo off in 2009, I went almost TWO years without refereeing Real Madrid matches.โ
โAfter that match when I got home, I received a call from the Head of the refereesโ committee, Sรกnchez Arminio, about literally just 10 minutes after I entered my house. He told me he didnโt like what had happened, that the incident would be on the front page of every national sports newspaper, and he hinted that there would be CONSEQUENCES.โ
โThere is a dark side of football that is unknown, or that people donโt want to know, and there are those who EXPLOIT it for other purposes.โ
โDonโt put yourself and your family into debt.โ
Steve Clarke is a hero now in Scotland after guiding them back to the World Cup for the first time since 1998.
He knows so many Scottish fans that want to go support the team in person, and he warns them about ticket prices.
โWe canโt control the prices,โ the Scotland head coach said via Sky Sports.
โItโs expensive to go to America anyway. Even if youโre going on holiday to America, you need to save up to get across the Atlantic and have your holiday there.โ
โSo it was always going to be an expensive World Cup. The ticket prices are set with FIFA. My biggest wish is that people donโt put themselves into too much debt trying to get there.โ
โIf you can afford to go, then great. But if you canโt afford to go, then understand that donโt put yourself and your family into debt.โ
Many people have been speaking out against ridiculously high ticket prices for the World Cup, including New York Cityโs mayor elect Zohran Mamdani.
this is maybe a little less serious, yes, but itโs SOOOOOO much better and lively and vibrant - football is a energetic sport for the regular everyday man; this kind of draw is a vastly better representation than the stiff, stale, tedious ceremony we saw yesterday
The ceremonies should either be grandiose and big; best of the best, top of the line producers and presenters, everything is flowing, etc; or it should be relaxed and fun and colorful. Something light for every kind of person
What we got yesterday was boring and corporal; and bad - so many mistakes from the production to presentation. Not a worthy representation of a gigantic World Cup
Uli Hoeneร on money in England: "We always have lunch [with the people in charge of the opponent] before the games. When Chelsea came here, this billionaire Boehly, he talks to you about half a billion, you think to yourself: 'is that lira, or is that euros?' - It's madness, yes, so money doesn't matter at all to them"
๐ฃ๏ธ Joshua Kimmich: "I think PSG was our toughest opponent especially the way they play football. Arsenal is completely different. They rely on set pieces. They love to play the long balls.
Against PSG, it's more a football game. Today, it was not so much about football. It was about game management."
