Will never support the growing stance of telling younger people not to study medicine sha.
That’s rubbish.
Given the economic outlook of Nigeria as a whole, Medicine is still top 3 courses to take a lower and middle income child out of poverty.
Over the past few weeks, I interned at @ifshealthcare, gaining insight into the managerial side of healthcare, especially monitoring & evaluation and project management.
The internship was so hands-on, & a very good use of my short break. I’m glad I made the most of every moment.
After months of internal testing (and lots of sleepless nights), we are glad to publicly start testing DermAI by DermAfricans, an AI tool to help healthcare workers diagnose skin diseases easier and know what to do next for patients. It literally works in three steps.

To Lydia, who would've sparsely understood what this truly meant, but would've locked me in an embrace, and danced with me through the night.
Rest easy Grandma❤️

Volunteered at a medical outreach on Monday—distributed medications while keeping an eye on polypharmacy! Grateful for the experience and always open to more opportunities to give back to the community.
Ibadan’s Magazine Road is actually named after its ‘storehouse’ meaning, for the Railway line front stores, shops and warehouses that lined the street in the old era of railway. Many of them had rail shunt lines that terminated inside the warehouses for direct and easy offloading of goods. It is one of these old warehouses that The @BooksellersNG occupies. The nearby publishing ‘knowledge zone’ is only a fortuitous siting.
She was just about 3 years old. Her parents brought her to me because she had suddenly started developing female secondary sexual characteristics. They were appalled. What manner of child is this? Physical examination revealed an abdominal mass. Further investigations showed it was ovarian, likely malignant. They were too poor to even have anyone to ask for help. Some people understand that kind of poverty. I reached out to my mom and sibs. And to the amazing Queen's College Class of 1994. Together, with a kindhearted pediatric surgeon and my fave anaesthetist, they made her story a miracle. Tumour taken out, chemo in the nation's premier health facility. That was 7 years ago. She's one of the joys of my life and a delight to her parents. This is my favourite cancer story. Where everyone wins💜 #childhoodcancersucks #childhoodcancer #embryonaltumour
