Thanks for coming by and giving me the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Keith Pomeroy, and I am your @One_BCHQ Candidate in the 2026 BC Provincial General Election for the beautful riding of Boundary Similkameen.
I grew up in Northeastern BC in Peace Country. Raised on a small farm, I have been involved in agriculture for 50 years; from being in "4-H" as a young child, to currently owning and operating a small ranch.
My childhood was spent helping my father and grandfather on the farm which taught me to love the land and respect livestock. I started trapping and hunting at an early age where I gained a love for wildlife and the outdoors.
In grade 7 at 12 years of age I was sent to what is now considered the toughest Residential School in North America. From Residential School, I went to Private Boarding School, finally completing grade 12 in public school.
My professional career spanned 35 years in oil & gas. I worked primarily in Western Canada, however, my experience also provided opportunities for me to work in Central Asia. At the end of my career, I was supervising crews of over 1100 men & women with budgets exceeding $500 million.
I retired 5 years ago to operate a ranch, gravel pit/quarry and small construction business.
My mother and grandfather were involved in municipal politics. My mother was one of the founding members of the BC Reform Party and I have followed politics since I was a young adult. I had neither the desire nor the time to be directly involved then, however, I can no longer sit idle now and watch the steady decline of this beautiful province.

Had a couple of questions over on Facebook about parts of my bio post, and so here's a bit of background.
I attended the Saint John's School of Alberta (operated from 1968 to 2008) for one full year 1980-81. This is the school that was in Genesee, AB. A boys school. I was 12. Full boarding, and included a mix of I'd say about 30% First Nations. I am of Scottish and English descent by the way.
This was a tough school. Maybe you would say a school of last resort. Helped prepare me for life. This was one of three schools that were of similar affiliation. You might have head of a book called "Toughest School in North America", by Richard de Candole. This was about his years at St. John's Cathedral Boys' School, one of the companion schools - also a tough boarding school in Selkirk, Manitoba.
Feel free to attend one of the upcoming meet and greets, and I'd be happy to talk with you more about this if you're inclined. I'd also like to share with you about how I view the current situation in BC, and what @One_BCHQ and myself are going to do about it. It's a tough world. Not a time for weakness.
@_Keith_Pomeroy@One_BCHQ@Dallas_Brodie Thank you, Keith for coming to the event. Appreciate the support. Grateful to see so many community members stand up and speak their minds. We are all in this together. We are @One_BCHQ
Penticton tonight at the @One_BCHQ event hosted by @WarrenHamm and @Dallas_Brodie
My campaign manager and I spent the day meeting volunteers and getting signs and materials out there. We did an open house in Okanagan Falls, and another Campaign Team member came up from Chilliwack tonight as well. Each of us a long drive home from Penticton!
Do to recent threats to our venue we have had to change locations for our rally with @Dallas_Brodie and @WarrenHamm . Our new location will be announced Friday afternoon. It’s even bigger and better. https://t.co/jpCMw5V5oC
Warren Hamm did an amazing job. Well spoken, knew his material, and by far presented the best plan to represent Penticton Summerland. Voting starts Friday. For a true conservative voice vote Warren Hamm One BC!
Good morning! After I'm finished up with ranch duties, including a horse ride to solve something, I will be on my way to Summerland to meet up with @WarrenHamm and other OneBC supporters. Warren has an event there at 1:30 today. See his poster below. Did you know that nearby Kaleden is in the Boundary-Similkameen riding I am running in? OK Falls, Oliver, Keremeos, Osoyoos... Drop by!

Great interview with @WarrenHamm who is running as our @One_BCHQ candidate in @OneBCPenticton. This one touches on the BC Conservative leadership contest that Warren was a part of, through to the coup against @KerryLynneFindl and now into the current election.
