How bad do you want what God promised? If you give up easily, you don’t want it bad enough. If you let people discourage you, bad breaks talk you out of it, delays cause you to quit believing, then it’s going to keep you from God’s best.
God is waiting for you to rise up. That may mean you need to forgive, have a new mindset, get rid of the bitterness, not accept defeat and mediocrity as your destiny, and have a new vision. You can break that negative cycle.
You’re not going to understand everything God does. The Scripture says His ways are not our ways. This is what faith is all about, trusting when it doesn’t make sense.
Tune into Joel’s message today, "Trusting God's Ways"! https://t.co/fzO8ZeVnAZ
I used to just thank God for my open doors, but now I’ve learned to thank Him for my closed doors. God closing a door is not only protecting you, but it’s setting you up for something greater.
You may not realize it, but right now, God is carrying you. The challenges you’re facing would be much more difficult if God weren’t lifting you, strengthening you, favoring you, pushing back the darkness.
Do the right thing when it’s hard. Keep a good attitude when people are not treating you right. Go the extra mile when nobody is watching. You may not see anything happening on the outside, but on the inside, God is working. You’re getting prepared to go to new levels.
You have to answer back the doubt with faith. All through the day, “Lord, thank You that it’s going happen quickly, thank You that these enemies are hurrying out of my way, thank You that I’m going to see a rapid turnaround.”
When we hang on to things that God tells us to leave, it always causes a problem. The longer you stay, the more difficult it’s going to be. The problem is that there’s no blessing on what God told us to leave. There’s no grace on what we were supposed to walk away from.
