Will never forget the day a church warden slapped my hand in front of the entire congregation just because I dropped my offering with my left hand.
Cried hot tears all the way back to my seat because I couldn’t believe it.
@ese_belosagie Saw a video where writers said studios have told them to dumb down dialogues because of viewers’ attention spans.
They want people to be able to watch films and still doom scroll
Have traditions with your friends mehn. Traditions will remind you that there are things that are constant in this world and they are very good for your mental health.
Nothing screams “jackpot” like being a terrorist in a country that doesn’t care about its people.
It’s like checking your spam folder and discovering one of those “$10m dollar inheritance” emails was actually real. It’s like spinning those Chowdeck-like wheels and actually winning a private jet.
You simply struck gold in a way you can’t explain just because you luckily chose the “right” country to be wrong in.
Like you don’t have to be careful. You can leave fingerprints everywhere. Your face can come up in videos. You can scatter traces of you in every corner. You can focus on what you do best without any care in the world.
You’re just convinced it doesn’t matter. Nobody is piecing anything together. Nobody is coming for you. No investigative team is having sleepless nights because of you.
You can just strike and strike, then strike again, and eventually you’re ushered to the negotiation table like some untouchable force. It’s the kind of power that convinces you you’re a god.
It must be downright heavenly to be a terrorist in Nigeria.
#BringBackOurGirls
So many killings. Before you digest one, another has happened.
People’s lives are being upturned and we just keep moving like it’s a regular day.
God, please let our leaders and everyone involved pay for their crimes here on earth too.
