👩🏼🔬Thanks to our newly developed 3D plaque culture model we found that intraplaque ACKR1+ neovessels secrete CXCL12 and play a key role in T cells recruitment. Read all about it here 👇🏻

Happy to share our latest work in which we present a novel method to study leukocyte recruitment to human atherosclerotic plaques. We found that CD8+ T cells recruitment to human plaques is mediated by ACKR1+ IP neovessels!

I am beyond happy to share that I received a DFG individual research grant @dfg_public to study the role of ACKR3+ fibroblasts in atherosclerosis. Thanks to everyone who helped me shape this proposal and I am looking forward to starting this exciting project!👩🔬
