Shopify update: RDR alerts are now counted in chargeback rate calculations.

Probably not the end of MRR or anything dramatic but it does change how risk is measured.

Those who can reduce both chargebacks and RDRs are the ones who’ll win;)

I transitioned over to Chargemont cause I was not looking for a basic shopify app for Shopify Payments

We run on multiple mids structures now and I need better support and someone who clearly understand it

By far best prevention rate from what I have seen between using Chargeblast (2 years ago), Disputifier (1 year ago) and now them

I have seen stores go into 7-figures debt because of this

Glad I moved away a couple months ago cause their auto-refunds were crediting me every month for mistakes

Prevention rate with them is only 85%

There are better ones out there anyway
