🇬🇧 Silverstone - 5s time penalty for moving before the start signal
🇧🇪 Spa - 5s time penalty for causing a collision with Russell
🇭🇺 Hungary - 3 grid place penalty for impeding Piastri
🇭🇺 Hungary - 5s time penalty for speeding in the pit lane

He also recieved a reprimand in Silverstone for failing to slow down under yellow flags

Anthony Davidson: "I’ve looked at this so many times and I can’t work out why he gets a penalty. For me, he slows down sufficiently well. We’ve got this marker board on the left-hand side that stipulates the 80km /h speed limit. I don’t see that [speeding]. Let’s have a look at the exit. Obviously knew he was under time pressure to get out in that race with Antonelli. Again, for me, it sounds like he releases the pit lane button on the line itself."

🚨 Vinícius Jr. is reportedly demanding a €15m loyalty bonus and €30m per year to renew with Real Madrid.

Interesting.

Because Real Madrid have never been a club that allows any player to hold them hostage.

Cristiano Ronaldo won the Champions League, wanted a salary closer to Messi and Neymar, and believed his performances deserved a new deal.

Florentino Pérez refused to completely destroy Madrid's wage structure for a 33-year-old.

The result?

Ronaldo was sold to Juventus for €100m.

Sergio Ramos was the captain. A club legend. One of the greatest defenders in football history.
He wanted a longer contract and better financial terms.
Madrid stuck to their policy for players over 30.

Ramos left for free.

Ángel Di María delivered a Man of the Match performance in the Champions League final and wanted a salary that reflected his importance

Madrid refused to meet his demands.
Sold to Manchester United for €75m.

Mesut Özil and his camp pushed for a significant salary increase.
Madrid didn't like the way the negotiations were handled and refused to bend.
Sold to Arsenal for €50m.

Raphaël Varane wanted a massive wage increase.
Madrid sold him to Manchester United for €40m.

The message has always been the same:
No player is bigger than Real Madrid.
Not Ronaldo.
Not Ramos.
Not Di María.
Not Özil.
Not Varane.
And certainly not Vinícius Jr.

Vini is one of the best players in the world. Madrid will absolutely want to keep him.
But if the demands become too extreme?
