I focused on different patterns and combinations to play into and off the 9.

E.g. CM receives facing forward, 9 shows feet, Opposite CM high to run off blindside to receive set.

I got some success with the patterns and added a 5 in to challenge the 9.

The practical side around working with smaller numbers whilst still painting the picture of match-day to get the correct detail into the individuals within the unit was key.

Then how Player profiles shape your game model and practice design.
