@HistoryWJacob In an average NFL game, the ball is actively in play for only about 11 to 18 minutes.
Total Game Time: ~3 hours and 12 min.
Actiin (Ball in Play): ~11 to 18 min.
Commercials: ~60 minutes
American sports are made to watch commercials and have time to get more nachos.
@PeteFiutak In NFL terms, Having no offside in “soccer” would make every play a hail mary, hoping to score by catching a lucky bounce amongst a crowd of defenders in the opponents area.
Its actually one of the most important rules as it makes the whole pitch relevant to the game.
@raulcontev Como peruano leo esto y salto. Sobre todo porque está escrito por un Mexicano. Bastante absurda la lista, en particular las justificaciones en paréntesis.
@KGrahamContent Fair point on the flopping
But You know what “soccer” fans hate though? And find exasperating? all the ridiculous rules in all your “contact” sports, where you stop the game every 20 seconds. Where you cant “touch” another player, or move your head before the ball moves, etc
@growing_daniel Theres some new shiny ones like in the US, but also some old decrepid leaky ones with a lot of history. But there are A LOT more stadiums in Europe as there are A LOT more profesional teams in “soccer” than in the NFL fanbase is diluted so stadiums dont all have to be so big.
@carebearkieran Adama Troare Diarra. Closest thing to Tyreek Hill in soccer. Same size 5’10 190lbs. Plays in the england. Hes very fast and strong but Not a star player, just decent and not the fastest. . https://t.co/DjveekdgQh
@mbs59er Can you imagine american “athletes,”those big, slow and fat freaks trying to run for more than a few minutes straight without a comercial break? I dont think so.
@Jeff88kg Love it.She is a big talent and an educated drummer that can probably play just about anything. that she plays those parts so precisely speaks more of her work éthic and her balls of steel. But those are Neils parts. HE WROTE THEM. And what a tribute to him her playing has been.
