ISRAELI COMPANIES ARE LEAVING TURKEY

Globes reports that Israeli sanitaryware company Hamat has shut down its Turkish subsidiary in Izmir, as Israeli business activity in Turkey continues to shrink under Ankara’s anti-Israel trade policy.

The numbers tell the story:
Israeli imports from Turkey fell from about $2 billion in 2024 to $924 million in 2025.

Israeli exports to Turkey collapsed from nearly $599 million to just $10.9 million.

Some Israeli-linked companies, including Teva, ICL and Netafim, still operate there — but the direction is clear.

Erdogan’s hostility is turning Turkey from a regional trade partner into a business risk.
