If I was in the jury, I would convict Andy of sexual assault bc I can understand why she waited 6 mo to talk. I can think about her side and that she might have been scared to speak up about her experience. As a girl, I can also see how the party could of lead up to this#tollgvms
Both Mr. Freeman and Melinda are parallel because they both are going through a hard time, a breakdown. They have different point of views but can relate in that way. #tollgvms
I think that parents should not tell their kids about the issues that they are facing. I also think that they should not tell them a big decision out of the blue. They should build up to it when things are getting serious. I think they would be too stressed if they knew.#tollgvms
Melinda decide to add Maya to her wall because she shares similar experiences just like Melinda's. Melinda sees that Maya pushed through all of that and it gives Melinda hope that maybe she can get over it just like Maya. #tollgvms
A8: Signs that indicate that Melinda is going through something is her lack of communication and lack of putting effort into things. Readers can tell because they get an inside view of what people are thinking. IRL we don't because we are caught up in things. #tollgvms
A7: Melinda and Pink's song are similar because they are both experiencing the same things. In the novel, it said, "You don't understand." (Anderson 28) relates to the song as it says, "the world couldn't care less." They both feel like nobody cares what they go through.#tollgvms
A6: I think Melinda chose to stay silent because she didn't want people to view her as a liar or snitch. It would of also been humiliating for her if people knew about it. She could also be so traumatized by the experience she is not ready to speak out yet. #tollgvms
A5: One reason that Rachel/Rachelle and Melinda's friendship changed could be because Melinda didn't see life like Rachel did anymore. This is both lack of communication because if they wanted to keep their friendship they could talk about it. #tollgvms
A4: Melinda self-harms because it helps her have self control and it is a form of coping. It is a form of control because you are controlling what you do with your body and potentially your life. #tollgvms
A3: "I used to be like Heather" (Anderson 24). This shows that she sees how she's changed as she grows up. "My room belongs to an alien" (Anderson 15). Her room showcases who she is as she grows up. #tollgvms
A2: I see her in the hallway, she looks good. I can tell she looks uncomfortable, which I enjoy. I want to make her feel this way again so I smile and wink at her. I want to feel her again but I have to keep my cool. #tollgvms
Grades are harmful to students. Instead of helping, they harm students. Whatever grade a student has, seeing it drop affects them. There should not be final grades like A's or C's but just teachers should just grade assignments or tests and give feedback, it would help. #tollgvms
