S6 did a great job with their investigation today using their Criminology knowledge. Fabulous acting skills from @BoclairGuidance as the murder suspects. #skills#teamwork

Most students approach the last couple of months before exams the wrong way.
They spend a lot of time organising notes, making flashcards and schedules saying which topics to revise which days and for how long.
But this approach is much better:
1. Work through a past paper of the actual exam you're taking.
2. Make a list of the things you got wrong (ask someone if you don't know the name of a topic).
3. Do 30 mins on each topic you missed more than 3 marks on: that could be watching a YouTube video, asking a tutor or friend or doing some targeted practise questions.
Then go back to step 1 and repeat until you're getting more than your target grade or you run out of time.
I guarantee you'll make progress much more efficiently and you'll enjoy the process more too.
The sighting of the Moon signifies the start & the end of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Muslims across the world will soon begin scanning the night sky for the first glimpse of a crescent moon, heralding the start of Ramadan.

Today is #HumanRightsDay, marking the adoption of the UN Declaration of Human Rights in 1948.
The Declaration is a source of inspiration to promote and protect human rights. However, human rights continue to be violated throughout the world today.
We’ve had such a fantastic response re Auschwitz 24. We are prioritising our S5s as it will be their final year at school. S3/4 names will be drawn from a hat & notified next week. Unsuccessful pupils will be put on the reserve list in case of drop outs. Thank u for the interest.
Black communities have been speaking out for decades about the deeply ingrained anti-Black racism in the UK & globally. It's our responsibility to listen, reflect, learn, & take action against the systemic racism that persists within our societies. 📖 👂🏽
