Wanting companionship, partnership, and a family is a beautiful and valid desire. There is nothing wrong with longing for it. But when the desire becomes desperate, it can make people ignore things they normally would have paid attention to.

Sometimes people overlook character issues, clear incompatibilities, or even their own readiness because they feel time is running out or everyone else is moving ahead.

Marriage is not a race. It is a lifelong partnership. So it deserves patience, clarity and wisdom in the choosing.

It is better to take the time to build something healthy than to rush into something that will require years of repair.
