@AndrewRTDavies Andy bach… I remember when you were challenged by a class of sixth-formers on why you voted for and supported Brexit… they asked about EU subsidies and you patronised them by telling them you were a farmer and knew a little more than they did… how’s that working out for you?
I'm not an economist, and I tend not to write on economics for fear of missing the obvious and sounding a moron. (No, doesn't stop me in other fields, etc.) But help me out, because this has been bothering me for a few months. (1/?)
Ben Elton’s excoriating criticism of Rishi Sunak: “I sort of believed maybe he’s kind of a bit more decent, you know, and it’s turns out he’s as much of a mendacious, narcissistic sociopath as his previous boss…”

@IanDunt@mrjamesob It smacks of a “gov in waiting” 🙄 fearing a precedent they set now will be used against them in future at some unspecified date and time. Frankly I think it shows a lack of courage at a time when we need a leader to say: f*** it -We’re mad as hell and we’re not take this anymore
Oh you’re waiting for Succession? The cool kids are inhaling this two part @OriginStorycast on Churchill from @Dorianlynskey and @IanDunt. Very happy to be an Apple subscriber. https://t.co/mqiEDtGVnT
@Dorianlynskey@IanDunt@Stephen_K_T I thought this too - I remember you @IanDunt saying something on either OS or OGWN about how your tone changed from seething anger recording the book, to laughing with Dorian in the interview… posting to follow and stay updated.
Great talk tonight in Cardiff @IanDunt - I think everyone in the room will be relieved I managed to resist asking a comics based question… it seemed a little too off-piste! Perhaps next time you’re in town…
