For example, I have a student with Autism in my classroom and she loved reading about Jordan and Tiana. She was able to relate and talk about the difference between Jordan and Tiana vs. herself.

My students LOVED Just Ask! by Sonia Sotomayor and illustrated by @rafaellopezart!! Especially the pages where it talked about the disabilities that they have!

LOVED being asked what I have been reading by my students, especially when I just got finished reading Noise Makers: 25 Women Who Raised Their Voices & Changed the Word from @Kazoomagazine!! This book has inspired me in so many ways, and my students loved it too!!
