openai apparently broke their subscription system.

paid ChatGPT Pro users getting banned or losing their subscriptions out of nowhere. and some Plus users randomly got upgraded to Pro without asking.

paying $200/month and waking up to a locked account is a special kind of experience.

if your plan looks different today, check your billing page before you start any long codex tasks. losing access mid important work is not fun.

@reach_vb @buildwithhassan I have the exact same issue Hassan is reporting with the exact same response on the appeal (I am on the 200$ Pro plan as well) happen to me 3 days ago, without prior warnings 🙂‍↕️ is there any ETA when we can expect updates/our accounts back?

@thsottiaux Yeah my 200$ Pro account got suspended 3 days ago without prior warnings. Did appeal but decision is being upheld without any sort of explanation why.
Support is only answering with pre-made answers without engaging with any of my messages and is now ghosting me for 2 days ☹️

Hey @OpenAI @OpenAIDevs @thsottiaux @ajambrosino @dkundel @jxnlco is there something going on with wrongfully flagging and deactivating accounts right now? Because I just got hit with a deactivation for some policy violation I have nothing to do with.

@thsottiaux Got 2 of initially 3 left but I am burning more usage because of that while I have them because I have to be less careful now with my weekly limit. I love this new way

@thsottiaux (2/2) and codex often can’t use them without app restart. So a way to for codex to restart its tools without a full app restart would be great. Maybe with an automated „ping“ to any other running threads that a restart is happening before doing so to avoid problems

- codex needs constant reminders to use the in-app browser and uses chrome instead. It got better with custom instructions but still happening.
- tooling, such as reading oder thread sessions and using in-App browser, seem to be unavailable randomly (1/2)

@Folken911 @reach_vb Should work in any chromium browser which can install extensions from chrome store I guess. I tested it in ms edge (don’t hate me, like that browser 😅) and it worked there.

@thsottiaux Recently renamed a project to its new name. Codex had to write a script to change the environment path and update the associated chats to the new path. Would be great if we could adjust the path and chats automatically retain their association without needing an extra script 😃

@JustinBleuel @dkundel I would like to have the dark grey variant, which was replaced with a black background a while back, as the background for dark mode back again please! At least the option to switch to that would be great 🙂‍↕️

1. Pinned Messages: Let me pin assistant messages to the sidebar for things I want to keep track of but am not ready to address yet. Render as a checklist & jump navigation.

2. Notes: Give me a scratchpad for thoughts while working.
