KRA has officially revamped the annual tax return filing calendar.
Gone are the days when almost everyone rushed to beat the June 30 deadline. Filing dates will now depend on your tax status:
📌 Nil Returns (no taxable income): January 31
📌 PAYE Employees (salaried only): April 30 — with most returns pre-filled on iTax; just verify and submit.
📌 Businesses & taxpayers with other income (consultancy, side hustles, rental income, etc.): June 30 remains unchanged.
A major shift aimed at easing the filing process and reducing the June rush.
There is no other generation that has its identity firmly rooted in money as are the millennials. Its men are convinced that money is a substitute for being actual human beings. Its women are convinced that money absolves men of their sins. Both pay severely for it.
There’s been an incident…
Blame culture asks “Who made the mistake?”
Learning culture asks, “What conditions created this outcome?”
That's the difference.
My wife says I need to stop assessing risk in everyday situations.
I told her the probability was low, but the consequences were irreversible.
She did not find this helpful.
