Today, I joined the peaceful protest with vocational trainers to stand with them in their long-pending demands. A memorandum was submitted to the government in 2024, yet their genuine concerns remain unresolved.
I urge @CM_JnK reconsider their demands, initiate meaningful dialogue and ensure a fair and time-bound resolution. These trainers deserve justice, dignity and clarity regarding their future @JKVTWA
#KNSUPDATE || Vocational Trainers continued their peaceful protest for the 3rd consecutive day at Floriculture Park Srinagar,pressing for the implementation of recommendations already submitted by the Dir's of School Education regarding removal of outsourcing system in vocational education.
After 3 days of peaceful protest, the J&K Vocational Trainers Welfare Association has extended the strike for 3 more days.
Our demands remain clear:
1. End the outsourcing system
2. Implement the submitted recommendations &
3. Ensure a job policy for VTs.
