@TheAusInstitute Exactly. If higher interest rates are intended to curb spending, the higher petrol prices will do exactly that - people will spend less to afford petrol, simple. And the rate rise will have no impact on global oil prices. Crazy.
@senbmckenzie@political_alert What “fight” are you talking about? And if it is only beginning now, what have you been doing the last few years while in opposition? Empty rhetoric.
@VinceRugari Exactly. Spurs finished the PL 5th in his first season, proof that he can coach PL. The issues this season were obvious with all the injuries, and they clearly favoured the shot at Europa League over PL. Just dumb.
@jeff_kennett So it’s all about some sort of ‘loyalty’ owed to the party rather than what might be in the best interests of the country. Speaks volumes. And some people wonder why others might think politics is broken…
@TinaMQ@RonniSalt@mjrowland68 If it doesn’t compromise anyone, then where is the detailed media reporting today about the event, who attended, what was said by whom and so on? Or was it private/secret, in which case yeah, no compromise at all…
@mattjcan If that is true, then why are you peanuts pushing a ‘gas led recovery’ and pro fracking as much of the country as possible?! Left hand, right hand...
