It’s kinda insane that our racist grandpas and grandmas were just buying cars for a nickel and buying entire houses for $18,000 and now they act like they worked really hard to have money (not mine, mine are dead/still don’t have money). That “I worked hard” is mostly bullshit to me and keep in mind I don’t know what I’m talking about. And also don’t give me that adjusted “what $18k was back then compared to today” crock of shit, because it was still like 51k for a 4 bed/4 bath house. Income to home price ratios are horrendous now. They werent back then. Thanks Obama. Back in the 60’s everyone was inhaling dust at Pink Floyd concerts and shooting ropes everywhere and then the population skyrocketed too. And then there was less land and more demand because all these Woodstock babies showed up. Tougher to build places too because old people started making restrictions on where things could get built. This isn’t a complaint either, life is life and we just gotta ball through it and keep going to Miami and Croatia strictly on credit, because who cares. I’m just pointing out that I’m getting tired of some old people thinking they worked really hard or out worked us. You didn’t. I’d know, I have a podcast. You know who worked hard? Egyptian dudes. The ancient people building shit with pulley systems. Lifting up gigantic fuckin boulders and rocks with a rope that their wife had to spend 18 years sewing so it could withstand the pressure of a pulley/axel system and also a 3,000 pound rock.
