2016 I was RB coach living in a dorm making 600 dollars a month, at a D2, we lined fields washed uniforms. The dream of being a big time college coach look deferred but with prayer & fasting. Got a call at end of season be OC at Howard went to making 100k+ & the rest is HIStory!

In 2013 I was HS HFB in Vallejo Ca. I was PE teacher, & tasked with trying to turn 7 players in 1st football meeting into a Jv:Varsity football team. We went to playoffs year 1, I made 38k. My office was a tiny closet space in boys locker room. Jeremiah 29:11-13 Chase the Dream!

Legendary Oakland football coach John Beam has passed away after being shot on Laney College’s campus Thursday afternoon, according to police.

Loved ones remember Beam as a larger-than-life personality who helped countless athletes turn their lives around and was a "pillar" in the Oakland community.
