I actually sat down and went through the Cluster Protocol whitepaper properly today and there's a lot more going on here than most people are talking about.

日本では、多くのことが「人々が配慮と敬意を持って行動する」という信頼の上に成り立っています。このことが最も明確に表れているのが、回転寿司店でしょう。食品が自動的に客の元へ運ばれる仕組みは、途中で誰かが迷惑行為や不衛生な行為をしないという前提で成り立っています。

言い換えれば、日本で人気の高い飲食ジャンルの一つは、人々が社会的な「迷惑野郎」や「クズ」の範疇に入る行為を控えることに依存しているのです。しかし残念ながら、そのハードルは一人の男には高すぎました。彼は大手回転寿司チェーン「はま寿司」での行為を撮影した不快な動画を投稿したとして、現在逮捕されています。

男がTikTokに投稿した動画では、自分で持ち込んだ食器用洗剤の容器から液体を寿司の皿に噴射している様子が映っています。動画は埼玉県内のはま寿司店舗で撮影され、5月27日に投稿されました。
1週間後、埼玉県警は動画を投稿した男を特定し、埼玉県毛呂山町在住の無職の43歳男性として、業務妨害罪の疑いで逮捕しました。

この事件にはいくつか議論すべき点があります。まず、男は他の客が食べる寿司に液体を噴射したわけではありません。近年、効率化と鮮度向上のため、多くの回転寿司店が従来の「先に寿司を握ってベルトに流す」方式を廃止しています。代わりに、ほとんどの（あるいは全ての）寿司は客が注文した後に握られ、ベルトで運ばれて注文した客のテーブルで自動停止する仕組みになっています。43歳の男が液体を噴射した寿司もこの方式で、動画では皿が自分のテーブルの位置で止まり、彼がベルトから皿を取って自分のテーブルに置く様子が映っています。
