@Pleyndamour Agree, terrible officiating due to similarity with top level football referees relying on someone else making the calls for them. However, 50 minutes with an additional man and still being the weaker team (again) is very worrying for Cas
@Bogey_Down@calumarchie@Jon_Mackenzie Not a Leeds fan but watched a fair few games and speak to some. Became a complete liability, confidence was shot and just kept making howler after howler. Look at the Sunderland goal for example, just looked like his head wasn’t in it any more and needed a fresh start
@AaronBower Think it’s got to the point where us being relegated may be the quickest solution. Rip the band-aid off, let everyone go and start again with players who actually do want to play for the shirt rather than collecting a paycheck and getting to call themselves SL players
@sighyam@d_n0112@NatetionX It was mental that it had queues out the door and round the corner for it, when there are better value restaurants next door
@sknod514@morenam1a@Dr0P1loT It’s terrible from where it was 10 years ago. If you’d had said Juventus and AC Milan would have English centre backs I’d have been so excited, but they weren’t good enough to be in any top teams in the prem and are nowhere near the national team.
@SlotIsABadGoth@AberdoveyPuffin@NeilLfc_5 Was it not when he went off against Denmark? Looked bad and if I remember correctly got stretchered off for hamstring tear
@WigansDannyB Something needs to change but can’t see how it’ll for us once we go down. Crowds are shit because we’re supposed to go to Halifax so fewer people getting season tickets and the players show no effort
@SebC__ Interesting that this sort of aligns with what Barton was saying and we all laughed at him. The Turkey teeth and their greater adoption becoming an increasing risk for footballers and muscle injuries as he mentioned with kdb
@CamDonDuncan@BigelbowAlan Council keep rejecting planning for different sites, which is why we’ve extended stay in the current stadium this season. We’ve bought the Shay but would be terrible moving out of Huddersfield to Halifax even if temporary. Thankfully looks like fax coming back so no merger
@CamDonDuncan@BigelbowAlan To be fair when I first started going the crowds were much bigger. Things were going downhill as we lost much of the league leaders squad and attendances never properly recovered from covid. The stadium is too big and it means it’s a hard sell with little atmosphere
@SENLeague Surely the easy decision is to play the WCC there? If teams from both SL and NRL why not have the main showpiece of world club rugby there as one of the games. Then potentially have one SL game and one NRL. Having the world champions game could appeal to more fans in US
@callumdeannn@NeilWilcock2@TruthTalkingMav Because playing the ref is a common thing that can help you win a match by using the ref to your advantage. Don’t think anyone really believes people try to bribe the ref.
@callumdeannn@NeilWilcock2@TruthTalkingMav Play, not pay. Some sides just are better at getting the most from referees and know how to get the decisions, as Wigan did so well with the amount of set restarts killing Leigh and meaning they could just keep rolling up the field against a tiring opposition.
