Hello
#WritingCommnunity
An idea of a thread featuring
#WritingBasics
is floating trough my brain
A space where we would discuss only basic concepts of writing
I saw #writingtips but that is more a showcase of articles etc.
The first tweet of #WritingBasics is bellow
@phoenixfire110 I would say bottom ones, 3 or 4.
3 has great smile and look into camera (that's missing in 2, smile is the same). 4 has a mystery look, intriguing...
@ChapelOrahamm This does seem to be a good plot.
Is that your non-writing wrist being surgered? 🤔 If yes, you might need a stack of paper and a good fountain pen 😉
If you are a member of the

@justin_author Nope, not for me.
Unexpected trip, treasure hunt, discovering new places & learning their history that's my thing. And it's fun. Not for everyone, but those who are on the same wavelength enjoy it.
Therefore I would not try to prove that I am fun
@justin_author Why should I try to 'prove' that I am fun?
The perception of fun is in the one who observes.
More important than proving is to find out why they have such opinion. What they see as fun?
Real example: I am not into nightlife. Bars and disco? Cont. 👇
@geostylegeo You MUST do self-edit
*Write without editing (at least 5,000 words)
*Put spellcheck on, fix (first self edit)
*Get a break
*Re-read, fix the most obvious parts (ask: what will happen if I delete this?)
*Ask β readers if they are gripped, bored, need more explanation
*Fix

What if she never comes?
Muse isn't fairy waving magic wand & giving sparkling ideas
Invite her as a date for a dinner
You don't wait until date arrives
You start cooking beforehand

@ColbyGreenwood5 10% charity, 10% for my education (books, courses, symposia...) in writing, 30% into fund for hiring editors and other necessary people to help finish and promote book if I ever decide to self-publish, the rest into savings.
