A major takeaway from my recent conversation with Chair of Ophthalmology @StanfordMed: kids and adults should get outside 2 hours a day. Why? It can offset myopia (near-sightedness) & development of myopia. How? Still unclear but it’s likely sunlight and far-viewing combined. On your screen and/or inside too much = degraded vision. Get outside folks. And kids especially.
