That is not how grapnels ever we used. They were grappling HOOKS, not SPEARS with hooks.

@GManlius11785 @bestoftheblacks yeah bro your confusing what grapples do and what’s portrayed in the show. in the show it stabs through his chest, in life those hooks catch after the rope wraps around something and pulls. the hooks would catch on the scales; not penetrate them on a battle weight dragon.
