@feydemie My headcanon is that he has a mezzanine apartment & his solar is downstairs, so the arches are an indoor balcony. The door next to his bed is the secret passage he’s just come through; you can see when it’s closed it becomes part of the Harrenhal mural (his medieval wall poster)

@aemondella I interpreted it as he is the furthest away, as he’s absconded with Larys. Whereas Aemond is closer as he’s the current Regent. IMO it should be Rhaenyra advancing on Aemond, as he’s about to lose his seat - this just spoils it for casuals by putting R on the throne
