To all who have attacked Hasan Piker, I’m going to check to see if you said anything about Laura Loomer calling a Black woman running for Senate in Florida, Representative Angie Nixon, a ghetto b**** and said that she should tug on her leash.
I STAND WITH @AngieNixon
It's 2027. The AI bubble has popped. The US dollar has bust. It's 500 dollars to buy a burger and it makes you immediately have diarrhea. The sun has been renamed America.
We are a broken nation. Hundreds of thousands of Haitians were living and working legally, paying taxes, and contributing. Haiti remains completely unsafe.
But Trump hates Haitians, and the White House wanted videos of Black people in chains, so they stripped them all of status.
None of the 10 Democrats in Congress who condemned Hasan Piker joined the 41 lawmakers urging the Trump administration to secure 20-year-old Palestinian American Sama Safi’s release from Israeli detention; six rank among their chamber’s top 10 recipients of pro-Israel money.
Rashida Tlaib is one of the extremely few people in Congress that I trust. She is a consistent - and persistent - advocate for what the majority of Americans need (and want according to polling).
Michigan having her representation makes this Wisconsinite envious.
Clean Air & Water.
Universal Healthcare.
$25/hr Minimum Wage.
Food Safety.
Affordable Housing.
Fair Treatment.
An End to Genocide.
Our Collective Rights.
This is what our fight is about. Our communities deserve these investments.
This is what the institutionalists are focusing their efforts on now: Disavowing #HasanPiker.
Not white Christian nationalists? Not the broligarchs? Not the AI overlords?
Nope, the guy encouraging young people to use their collective political power for good.
F*ck that noise.
A police chief in Oshkosh, Wisconsin caught Flock lying to his city council, and killed the $8 billion surveillance company's contract less than a day after the council had approved it.
Here's how it happened.
The night before, Oshkosh's council was set to renew its deal with Flock Safety, the license plate camera company backed by a16z and Tiger Global.
One council member asked the Flock rep a plain yes-or-no question. Does this system build a heat map of everywhere a specific car travels over time?
Flock's rep said no.
The council believed him and voted 5 to 2 to renew. By the next morning, Chief Dean Smith's own officers had told him that answer was false.
So he pulled up the system himself. He watched it generate the exact heat map Flock had just sworn it couldn't make.
Then he walked into an emergency meeting and said it out loud: "Because of this misrepresentation, I can no longer recommend Flock."
Understand what a heat map is, because it's the whole trick.
Flock sells cities a tidy little story. A car drives by, we snap a photo, we read the plate, that's all it is.
But the same system can quietly average out where your car goes day after day and paint your routine onto a map.
Not one snapshot at one corner. Your pattern. Where you sleep, where you work, where you keep going back and how often.
A Flock employee later admitted on the record that the software does exactly that.
So the pitch and the product are two different things. The company wins the contract selling a plate reader, then sits on a moving map of your life.
The only reason Oshkosh caught it was one skeptical question and a police chief who bothered to check the answer.
The vote to rescind was 7 to 0. Unanimous.
Flock called the whole thing "one small misconception" from a long meeting and said it was disappointed nobody let it explain.
A surveillance company worth eight billion dollars got caught lying about whether it maps where you drive. Its defense was that the lie was small.
Oshkosh got one honest answer by accident. Congress can make it the rule.

WATCH — 2 CLIPS
CLIP 1: @DanaBashCNN attacks Hasan Piker (@hasanthehun) for saying Israel’s actions are putting Jews in danger
CLIP 2: Bash saying THE SAME THING HERSELF to Netanyahu in July 🤔👇🏽
(H/T @KweenInYellow)
How can CNN’s Dana Bash pretend to be an objective journalist anymore? From her recent appearance on Bill Maher to her interviews with lawmakers, Bash doesn’t even attempt to hide her pro-Israel bias. Plus, WashPost’s Karen Attiah speaks to Zeteo after being rehired.
Jennifer Welch: “We’ve got people dropping dead of measles, we’re buying contaminated beef from Argentina, we have killer blueberries. They’re killing off wild horses and they’re tearing up our national parks. These people are destroyers of life. They are not a pro-life party. MAGA is a pro-pedophilia, anti-family death cult”
This is not true. This is a lie. He hasn’t done that. He has argued that rape by Hamas on October 7th wouldn’t justify, or change the dynamic of his opposition to, Israel’s subsequent attack on Gaza.
Does CNN not have a standards department anymore?
Too many demotivated Democrats stayed home in 2016 and 2024. We can’t repeat past mistakes. In this upcoming election, we need to:
Quit calling @BernieSanders an “antisemite.”
Stop wasting time attacking Hasan Piker instead of Trump’s robber baron corruption.
Don't put Israel hawks out of touch with our voters in charge of our Middle East policy.
It is time for a reckoning: are we a party that represents corporate interests and super PACs, or will we represent the American people?
Hi, I’m Madeline -
I’m a Jew.
I was literally in the studio with @hasanthehun the same day he made the comments everyone is upset about.
Let me be very clear: Hasan got clipped out of context.
These people are full of sh*t.
Hasan was literally advocating for the OPPOSITE of violence against us, as he always has.
He said the exact same thing about how the conflation of anti-Zionism with anti-semitism causes Jewish people - like myself - to become targets. Ezra Klein said the exact same thing previously, and nobody batted an eye.
I spent a full hour with him that same day. Anybody wanna check how his behavior was with me? A whole Jewish lady? I’m sitting right there next to him. Care to see what we talked about and how we talked about it?
I’ll give you a hint: non-violence, deradicalizing people, advocating for the humanity in every single person - Jewish and Palestinian alike.
Please, my Jewish brothers and sisters - moms and dads and bubbies and zaydes - please hear me:
They’re trying to trick us. They’re playing with our emotions and steering us away from the truth so we will abandon our principles and join the other side.
I’m begging you - don’t let them make you abandon what you believe in.
And don’t take my word for it — Please — look for yourself to see who is actually on our side and wants to protect us. Look and you’ll see who is actually speaking the truth.
Chesed v emet - kindness and truth. Please don’t abandon the values our people have carried because you’ve been convinced of something that isn’t even true.
Please.
The accusation that I am antisemitic is appalling and fundamentally dishonest. Criticizing the actions of the Israeli prime minister, a military technology contract, or the executives who supply it is not the same as criticizing Jewish people. This critical and necessary dialogue is then dishonestly framed as being anti-Israel. To be clear, my views come from my own political convictions and should never be interpreted as hostility toward Jewish people, for whom I have deep love and respect. Everything I know about acting, activism, and humanism has been profoundly shaped by the Jewish friends, colleagues, and loved ones who have been integral and family throughout every point of my life.
This merger has real consequences for real people, and for the entire country. Scrutinizing the Ellisons, including Oracle’s business built on data, surveillance technology and government contracts, and the serious threat to editorial freedom and the loss of a livelihood for thousands of families, is fair and necessary. The $111 billion deal would hand one family control over CNN, HBO and Warner Bros., backed in part by foreign money whose influence on editorial decisions has never been fully explained to the public.
Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have called for serious national security review, and regulators still haven’t given the public a real answer. Until they do, the merger shouldn’t move forward. Now is the time to dive boldly into all these issues, not step back or concede.
Mark Carney wanted nothing more than to return to the status quo of Canada being the de facto 51st state without being so explicit about it but Trump is such a dumbass he can't take yes for an answer
