@ntvuganda Hello Your Excellency @KagutaMuseveni and Hon. @millybabalanda and Gen. #Karemire, this little angel Yvonne (RIP) remains the youngest public hero… with a spirit no different from that of our FRONASA and NRA heroes. Please consider in the 9th Oct. 2026 cohort of awardees🙏
@SarahBireete@adoniaayebare Dr. Sarah my elder, you miss the core in the Hon. MFA designate’s response! His being Uganda’s PR at the UN has no provisions of the UN Charter thwarting it. It entirely upon the member state to choose whosever is deemed fit. Your argument would only apply for W. DC mission.

Took Oath as Minister of State for Mineral Development 2026-2031.
Sincere gratitude to H.E @KagutaMuseveni for the renewed trust to continue serving my motherland.
🇺🇬🌍 Earlier today, members of the African Diplomatic Corps resident in Uganda received a comprehensive briefing from the @MinofHealthUG delegation led by Permanent Secretary @DianaAtwine on Uganda’s preparedness and response to communicable disease outbreaks. “Uganda's history in communicable disease management is well-known and we shall not shy away from our capabilities,” @DianaAtwine, emphasized, reaffirming the country's robust surveillance, containment and response systems. #UgandaHealthSecurity #AfricanDiplomaticCorps #HealthDiplomacy
What are you doing shrinking back, living with an ordinary mindset? God says you’re a mighty warrior. You were created to do awe-inspiring deeds.

Yesterday I signed an agreement establishing Diplomatic relations between Uganda and Uruguay. My colleague Ambassador Dupuy Lassere signed on behalf of her country and the ceremony was witnessed by Hon. Mario Lubetkin the Foreign Minister of Uruguay.
Mzee General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni,
I wish to express my deepest gratitude for the confidence and trust you have placed in me by appointing me Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uganda. I am profoundly honored by this responsibility and humbled by the opportunity to continue serving our nation under your leadership.
I remain fully committed to advancing Uganda’s foreign policy objectives, safeguarding our national interests, and strengthening our diplomatic relations across the region and globally . I pledge to serve with loyalty, diligence, and dedication in pursuit of Uganda’s peace, prosperity, and strategic aspirations.
Thank you, Your Excellency, for your continued guidance and confidence.
I congratulate the Rt. Hon. Speaker Jacob Oboth Oboth and Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa and thank the MPs for carrying out their mandate of voting, peacefully and transparently.
The NRM candidates obtained more votes than the NRM members in the House, and I note the votes our ally Mao took away. We shall address this because we want a united Parliament that serves our people better.
This evening at State House Entebbe, I met the first NRM Caucus of the 12th Parliament and welcomed the endorsement of Hon. Jacob Oboth Oboth as candidate for Speaker and Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa as candidate for Deputy Speaker.
I congratulated them and reminded the Caucus that since the inception of the NRM, we have rejected bad politics. When choosing leaders, we must first ask what needs to be done for the people before asking who should do it. Politics must reject identity, religion, tribalism and gender chauvinism, and instead focus on solving people’s problems. Our priority remains wealth creation and social- economic transformation through productive engagement in agriculture, services, artisanship and ICT.
